The Bible calls each of us to be a participating and contributing partaker in our local church and to grow in our spiritual walk with God. At Ellerslie, membership is taken very seriously as it is viewed as a defining moment when a believer formally steps forward to not only publicly affirm a commitment to Christ, but also to commit to journeying with and supporting this faith family.

It is important to note that one does not need to become a member to participate in Ellerslie Road Baptist Church. Everyone is free to worship, volunteer, give, and participate apart from membership. Membership is for those who wish to commit to this faith family, taking responsibility for it and supporting it.
